Captivated by history from a young age, Geoff Lawson began writing while restoring New Zealand’s last survivig paddle vessel. He later authored a book on the Krupp Number Four artillery gun and the novel Forgiven. Geoff loves bringing history to life through his writing.

Pat Backley is an author, born in England, but now happily settled in Auckland. Passionate about people and travel, she has lived a colourful and interesting life and her books reflect these passions. She published her first book just before her 70th birthday and now intends to write till she dies!
