Jenna Brockett Author Headshot

Sue Carpenter is a New Zealand Junior Fiction and Young Adult author. She isn’t ready to grow up so she keeps her mind young by writing for children. Sue doesn’t want barriers between her readers and her imaginary worlds, so her books are written in simple language, are straight to the point and shorter – so easy to bite into and are dyslexic friendly. All of Sue’s picture books come with free printable activities.

She has won the IWW Sci-fi/Fantastic with a short story in her Blood Protectors world as well as being highly commended in Kidslit with her Lavender Hill.

Sue enjoys school and library and kindergarten visits where she reads her stories, and talks to the children about reading disabilities and how she has overcome them by writing.

Sue also runs workshops on writing and poetry.

Sue’s books are available through Ingram Spark, Wheelers or online at Amazon.
